This gouda style cheese is made on the edge of the New Forest from the farm's dairy herd. Oak Smoked Winchester has a hard rind which means that when it is smoked over oak chippings it absorbs a hint of smokiness which is not overpowering .

Pasteurised and suitable for vegetarians.

Delivery/Pick-up

Delivery: you can choose the date you wish to receive your order when you check out. Your order may be delivered 1-2 days either side of your chosen date. Delivery dates are estimates & cannot be guaranteed. For more information, see our delivery policy.

Pick-up from the Salisbury Charter Market: all orders received by midday on Wednesday will be available for pick-up the following Saturday.

Care Instructions

When you receive your cheese, unpack it straight away and call us if there has been a problem.

Your cheese is ready to eat and does not need to ripen. You can expect a hard cheese like Cheddar or a robust cheese like a Stilton to keep up to 14 days. A softer cheese like a Brie or a Camembert will keep for 10 – 14 days.

Keep your cheese in the waxed cheese paper it arrives in as it will allow it to breath while maintaining the humidity. If a softer cheese arrives in a box then keep it in the box. The best place to store your cheese is in the fridge and preferably in the salad compartment.

Take it out before you plan to eat it and let it warm to room temperature.
